Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 15 September 2026Try it before you pay
Every new account gets 14 days of full access, free. We do not ask for card details to start the trial, so no charge can occur during it. The trial is there to let you evaluate Markov properly before any money changes hands — log real trades, set your rules, and see whether it holds you to them.
If it is not for you, do nothing. The trial ends by itself, writing is locked, and you are never billed.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Subscription screen, which opens Paddle's customer portal. Cancelling stops future billing immediately — there is nothing further to pay and no notice period.
You keep access for the rest of the period you have already paid for. After that, logging trades and editing rules are locked, and your existing history stays readable.
Refunds
Once a subscription payment has been taken, we do not refund partial months. Cancelling part-way through a billing period stops the next payment; it does not generate a pro-rata refund for the days remaining.
We take this position because the 14-day trial gives you full access to decide before any charge, and because each period is billed for the month ahead.
When we will refund
Regardless of the above, contact us and we will put it right if:
- you were charged after cancelling;
- you were charged more than once for the same period;
- a fault on our side made the service substantially unusable for a significant part of a period you paid for;
- the law where you live gives you a refund right that overrides this policy.
UK and EU consumers: you have a statutory right to cancel a digital service within 14 days. By starting your free trial and then subscribing, you agree that the service begins immediately — but your statutory rights are not removed by this policy, and we will honour them where they apply.
How to ask
Email marcucalandea@icloud.com with the address on your account and, if you have it, the Paddle receipt or transaction ID. We aim to reply within three working days.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as Merchant of Record, so any approved refund is issued by Paddle back to the original payment method. Banks usually take 5–10 working days to show it.
