The strategy is rarely the problem
Most blown challenges are not bad setups. They are one oversized trade after a loss, taken outside the plan.

Nobody fails an evaluation because they ran out of setups.
Most blown challenges are not bad setups. They are one oversized trade after a loss, taken outside the plan.
A daily loss limit is simple to respect until you are down on the day and want it back before the close.
Reviewing at the weekend tells you what went wrong. It cannot stop the next trade, which is where the account goes.
Six screens, one job: make breaking your own rule harder than keeping it.
Daily loss limit, daily trade limit, consecutive losses and a session window — per account. Log a trade that breaks one and Markov says so immediately.
Not a toast that fades. The screen blocks, names the rule, and makes you type it out before you can carry on — the trade is still logged either way.
Write the checks you promise yourself, in your own words. Anything left unticked when you log a trade is recorded as a break like any other.
Profit target, max drawdown, daily drawdown, consistency and minimum profit days — so you know where the account actually stands.
A month per screen, green days and red days, and the trades behind any of them one tap away.
Every break, when it happened and on which account. Breaks cannot be deleted or reworded — that is what makes it a record.
Every trade keeps its account, direction, size and result — editable afterwards, with the original version kept.
Firm, size, phase, profit target and drawdown limits. Challenge, evaluation or funded.
The limits your firm imposes, or stricter ones of your own, plus your own checklist.
Markov checks each one against your rules and stops you the moment you break one.
Trades are logged by hand. Markov checks each one as you save it, so it stops the next trade rather than one already open — broker imports are the next thing we are building.

All of them. Markov does not connect to your firm — you enter the account's size, phase, profit target and drawdown limits yourself, so it works with Topstep, FTMO, Apex, Lucid Trading, MyFundedFutures or anyone else, including firms that do not exist yet. If your firm has a rule Markov cannot express, tell us and we will look at it.
Not yet. Trades are logged by hand, which takes a few seconds each, and that is the honest limitation of this version. It also means enforcement happens between trades rather than during one: Markov sees a trade when you log it, so it catches the next trade, not the one already open. Broker and prop firm imports are the next major feature.
Logging trades and editing rules lock until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted: your trade log, calendar and violation history stay readable, and you can export everything as a file whenever you like.
From the Subscription screen, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and there is no notice period or cancellation fee.
There is a promotion code field on the checkout page. If you have a code from us or from someone we work with, enter it there and the discount applies before you pay.
No. Markov is a journalling and tracking tool. It does not execute trades, it does not tell you what to trade, and it cannot guarantee any outcome. Trading carries risk, and the rules it enforces are the ones you set yourself.
Markov is a journalling and tracking tool, not financial advice. It does not execute trades or connect to your broker, and it cannot guarantee any trading outcome. See the Terms of Service.
